Marilyn Davison is an organizational development consultant and researcher. A managing partner in Whycroft (whycroft.com), her background includes 15 years in sales and marketing at Digital Equipment Corporation and with Innovation Associates (consulting company founded by Peter Senge, author of The Fifth Discipline) and Arthur D. Little, both in Boston and in Brussels.

As a manager in ADL’s information systems practice she worked with European based clients – Petrofina, British Gas, Glaxo, Smith Kline Beecham and Eurocontrol.

Assignments included process re-design, enterprise systems (SAP, People Soft) change management and empowerment issues, executive coaching, team management, assessment of readiness for change, including Unwritten Rules of the Game methodology.

Marilyn has many years of experience delivering leadership courses based on the concepts in Organizational Learning.



She presented at many public conference and forums through out Europe as well as with individual corporate clients.

Her particular area of expertise is in Dialogue.

Her current research and writing concerns what organizations can learn from the Bedouins of northern Israel, in particular their decision making and conflict resolution practices.

She is a member of the Society of Organizational Learning, France chapter.

Her past experience includes being an award winning art critic for the Boston Globe, consulting with non profit organizations in assessment of affective domain programs in cultural integration and in the use of the arts to further learning.

She was research director of the Boston Foundation for the Arts, a consultant at Heuristics Inc – an educational assessment firm, consultant and TQM programming director for the Massachusetts Corporation for Education Technology (MCET) a satellite based distance learning consortium.

Marilyn received her B.S. and M.A. degrees from Tufts University in Boston; she did doctoral work in statistics and Boston College and in Total Quality Management at Radcliffe Seminars program.

She is active in raising and showing Lakeland terriers, and lives with her husband in Mougins France.
