Peter Barnet is a lifelong marketing and advertising executive. He has held senior management posts in well known advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather and Lintas. Also, he has led marketing efforts for Sara Lee in Europe and Grupo Synchro in Latin America.
Peter has spent thirty-six years building brands for Procter & Gamble, General Mills, General Foods, Kraft, Carnation, Smith Kline Beecham, Kimberly Clarke, Groupe Danone and Sara Lee. Much of this has been on a global scale.

A pioneer in integrated marketing as well as a recognized expert on premium marketing, O&M published Peter’s First Class: How to Market Premium Products in 1987 and he has lectured on this subject worldwide. Over the years Peter’s teams have won 11 Effie awards and most recently, Peter was named Marketing Man of the Year for his lectures to graduate students at the International Marketing Communications program at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

Since 2002, Peter has been an Associate Professor of Global Communications and International Business Administration at The American University of Paris. He has a BA Degree in Political Science from Yale.
